Collection of Promises: Mandy Fackler
Mandy Fackler was everyone’s friend. She was strong and sweet. She loved people, loved animals, loved being a mom and loved her daughter fiercely. Mandy cared deeply about mental health, and she had a way of making people feel better simply because they had met her.
In the days following Mandy’s death, her story inspired an extraordinary response. People began reaching out for help, while others reached out wanting to help.
Mandy’s Promise is part of the Collection of Promises™, created to hold space for that response while protecting the privacy of those seeking help and responsibly gathering the information of individuals and organizations inspired to offer support.
There is no expectation of what Mandy’s Promise must become. Right now, it is simply a place to reach out, raise your hand and be counted.
Mandy showed up for people. This is a place for people who want to keep showing up in her name.

“Mandy had a way of making everyone feel loved, valued, and truly seen. She brought warmth, laughter, and an incredible energy wherever she went. What I admired most was the love and devotion she poured into her daughters. Mandy made people feel like they mattered, and that is something I will carry with me forever.”
To Mandy, my sister from another mister.
Somehow I got to be both the Kit to your Barbie and the big ‘sis’ you always called me. I promise to keep saying your name, sharing your story, and reminding people of the beautiful soul you truly were. I’ll carry the laughs, the lessons, and the countless conversations we had that mean even more to me now. I promise to always advocate for mindset and mental health, and when I do, I’ll think of you and all those conversations we had about both. And I promise to always make sure your girls know how fiercely their mom loved them, how proud you were of them, and how hard you fought for them. They will always have people who will tell them your stories, say your name, and remind them exactly who their mama was. I’ve got you, sis.
